Hello Mosquito G.R.I.D. Agent,

By now, you should have received your Mosquito G.R.I.D. kit! The kit includes a special detection lure to capture mosquito eggs.

Here is what you need to do next:


Watch the "Step 3" section (8:19 - 11:07) of the video below for directions. Before going outside, apply repellent or take other bite prevention measures.

Part 1:
Choose the Location for the lure 

Helpful hints: Look for a shaded area near plants or trees.

If possible, use the spike to keep the lure from being tipped over.

Part 2:
Label Egg Papers 
 

Label your papers with your agent number and the date you set your lure

  • Check your calendar for date

Part 3:
Fill and place your first lure
